Privacy Policy

Effective August 9, 2026 · Version privacy-2026-08-09

This policy explains how SpareMe handles information when you use the app, website, and AI-assisted calling service.

Call notice: SpareMe processes recipient speech to provide live transcription and operate the assistant. The assistant announces transcription at the beginning and ends if the recipient refuses the required processing.

1. Information we process

2. How we use information

We use information to authenticate you; verify caller identity; place and operate authorized calls; provide transcription, speech, live controls, notifications, and evidence-backed outcomes; maintain purchases and balances; prevent fraud and unwanted calls; secure and debug the service; provide support; honor privacy choices; and comply with law.

When advertising is enabled, limited device, consent, coarse-location, impression, interaction, and diagnostic data may be used to request, deliver, measure, limit, and protect ads. SpareMe does not send call purpose, transcript, attachments, destination or business, phone number, name, email, account problem, purchased balance, or call outcome to advertisers.

3. Advertising choices and Google

SpareMe may show a silent banner and may offer an optional rewarded ad. A verified rewarded completion grants the exact app-only call time stated before the ad. The reward is non-transferable and has no cash value. Declining or dismissing a rewarded ad does not block normal app use.

Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform may process IP address, coarse location, device and advertising identifiers, consent signals, ad impressions or interactions, and diagnostics under Google's terms. SpareMe enables Google restricted data processing, disables publisher personalization and publisher first-party identifiers, and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission in this version. Depending on your location and choices, the app shows a consent or privacy-options form or does not request an ad. Learn more about how Google uses information from partner apps.

You can reopen Privacy choices in Settings when required. You may opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising where applicable. SpareMe does not sell personal information for money. Where applicable law requires us to honor a recognized browser or device opt-out signal that we receive and can reasonably associate with your request, we will treat it as an opt-out request.

4. Welcome and rewarded call-time program

Each production account receives one 30-minute app-only welcome grant recorded in the call-time ledger. Participation in rewarded ads is voluntary and begins only when you choose the disclosed offer. One verified completion grants 10 minutes of app-only call time, and no more than 120 rewarded minutes may be earned in a rolling 24-hour period. If an active call reaches about five conversation minutes remaining, SpareMe may send a time-sensitive notification and show the same offer in the active-call screen; the call remains connected while you choose. You can withdraw by not selecting future offers or by closing an offer before its reward event; withdrawal does not remove previously earned time or reduce normal app access.

One 10-minute reward has an estimated comparable retail value of approximately $3.00 to $3.50, calculated from the current U.S. call-time packs ($17.99 for 3,600 seconds and $6.99 for 1,200 seconds). The 30-minute welcome grant has an estimated comparable retail value of approximately $9.00 to $10.49. SpareMe expects at least $0.020 in gross ad revenue per filled impression at its configured floor while providing about $1.25 of modeled service capacity per reward; this is a launch subsidy, and actual revenue, cost, and value vary. The data categories involved are IP address, coarse location, device or advertising identifiers, consent/privacy signals, ad impressions or interactions, and diagnostics, not call or profile content. Where applicable law treats this exchange as a financial incentive, price or service difference, or similar program, this section is the program notice. You may contact us with questions or to exercise an applicable right.

4a. Listening to a live call

You can choose to hear a call while the assistant handles it. Audio travels in one direction only: from the call to your device. SpareMe does not use your microphone for this, and nothing you say or do in the app reaches the call unless you join it. Because the assistant tells every recipient at the start of the call that you may be listening, no separate notice is given when you start or stop.

Audio plays through your connected headphones when you have them, and otherwise through the speaker, so people near you may hear the other party. SpareMe does not record the call.

5. Service providers and disclosures

Providers help operate SpareMe, including Apple for sign-in, notifications, distribution, and purchases; telephony and call-routing providers such as Twilio; speech providers such as Deepgram and ElevenLabs; OpenAI for language-model processing; Google for advertising and consent; and hosting, database, security, and operational providers such as Vercel, Cloudflare, and Railway. Providers process information under their own contracts, instructions, settings, and legal obligations. Google may act as an independent controller for advertising data.

We may disclose the minimum necessary information to comply with law, protect users or recipients, investigate abuse or security incidents, enforce our terms, or complete a corporate transaction subject to appropriate protections. We do not use call content to train first- or third-party models by default.

6. Retention

We delete or de-identify information when its purpose and required retention period end, unless law permits or requires longer retention.

7. Security and sensitive information

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. No system is completely secure. Do not submit passwords, full Social Security numbers, payment-card security codes, or one-time passcodes. SpareMe is designed to reject or redact prohibited secrets.

8. Your choices and rights

You can review call records, change notification settings, end a call, manage privacy choices when available, and initiate account deletion in Settings. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy where applicable. You may also withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may verify identity and limit a request where law permits. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted. We do not discriminate for exercising an applicable privacy right.

9. U.S. state privacy notice

Depending on where you live and whether a state law applies to SpareMe, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, sensitive-data processing, and opting out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. In the preceding 12 months, the categories described in Section 1 may have been collected and disclosed to the provider categories in Section 5 for the purposes in Section 2. SpareMe does not knowingly sell personal information and does not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 18.

To exercise a right or appeal a decision, use the in-app controls or email us. For ad-related opt-outs, also use Privacy choices in Settings.

10. Recipient rights and suppression

A recipient may refuse processing or ask not to be called. SpareMe ends the call and may retain a protected destination token in a suppression record so future calls can be prevented. Recipients may contact us about a call, transcript, or suppression record. Removing a suppression record is not guaranteed where retention is needed to honor a do-not-call request.

11. Children

SpareMe is for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the service.

12. International processing

SpareMe is currently offered in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other places where providers operate. Where required, transfers use contractual or other legally recognized safeguards.

13. Changes

We may update this policy as the service or law changes. Material changes will be presented through the app or website, the version and effective date will change, and consent will be requested where required.

14. Contact
